BrunoI think I started out just buying them with no real attachment. But today, I can see that they all tell a story. Each sneaker has a cultural background and some insane reference. So, I think that’s it, whenever I put on a pair of sneakers it’s always for a reason, it’s never a random decision, it’s never because I was lazy. For example, if I’m going to a specific party, I’ll put on sneakers that has to do with that party, when I go to a wedding I put on sneakers that match the context of that wedding, I’ll put on something that matches how I’m feeling, my mood, my spirit.

BrunoI have this white Air Force for four years now, I actually bought them because I wanted something that would go with any of my clothes. It felt really comfortable right from the start, and because they look a bit bulky on your feet, and not so thin. Later on, I looked up its story, and googled it, and found that there were other models and colorways. That was basically it for me, i just wanted a sneaker that I could put on, on every occasion. And it was with this one, that my story with sneakers began.

BrunoI’m going to tell a very recent one: I went to Salvador for Carnaval for the first time, and when I looked at all my sneakers I thought “the only ones that could withstand Salvador’s carnaval are these right here” (laughs). And they did! It was 3 “trios”, 2 “blocos” and 5 days right in the middle of it all, and they are still standing.
